Next… I’m not sure when I’ll have time to go out on a photo excursion again, but I plan to start reviewing some of the photos in my hard drives so keep posted.
It is unfortunately time to come back to reality. I’ve spent 17 days on the road, stayed at 8 different hotels, visited 3 states and took over 500 Gb of photos; but all good things must come to an end and so shall this. Continue reading

It’s been a week since I’ve been back from Dragon*Con 2012 and I’m still processing pics! I’ve tried to post a few of my favorites from the first days and so far I’m up to Sunday evening, but there’s still so much left to do.
This past Saturday Aug. 25 2012 there was a Cosplay event at Track 21 in Houston. I found out about the event via facebook and I decided to attend as a warm-up for the next big con: Dragon-Con! Continue reading
Last Saturday night I attended a body paint party at the Sterling Room in Kingswood. The party was hosted by Sasha Grether and the main idea was to provide body painters with models so they could create their works of art in front of a live audience while listening to some cool tunes and a few drinks. I must say I really enjoyed this past weekend. Saturday morning, I attended a photowalk at the 1940 air terminal museum; and that same evening went out to George Observatory for some nighttime photography.
Since I’ve made more progress on the observatory photos, I’ll focus this post on that and I’ll make a separate post for the air terminal museum.
